Gui-shuang Ying, MD, PhD

​

Gui-Shuang Ying, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director for the Biostatistics Module, core grant for vision research in the University of Pennsylvania. He is a senior biostatistician at the Center for Preventive Ophthalmology and Biostatistics, an Associate Scholar of Biostatistics and a faculty member of the Graduate Group in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Ying’s academic degrees include an MD (Preventive Medicine) and MPH (Toxicology) from Zhejiang Medical University (currently Zhejiang University) in P. R. China; an MS (Biostatistics) from University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Ph.D. (Biostatistics) from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Ying has extensive experience and participated in ophthalmology research programs, and in various ophthalmological indications, including choroidal neovascularization and geographic atrophy.

 

He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
