Ronald Lenefsky, MD

Currently affiliated with the North Shore LIJ Medical Group, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, and Southside Hospital. He also holds a current academic position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Hofstra North Shore- LIG School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein School of Medicine in 1996, his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1996, and his board certification from the American Board of Infectious Diseases in 1998. Dr. Lenefsky has clinical experience in internal medicine and infectious disease, which include but are not limited to, upper respiratory tract infections, bacterial pneumonia, atopic dermatitis, HIV, anemia, pulmonary tuberculosis, and viral meningitis. His research expertise includes infectious disease, in particular, vancomycin-resistant enterococcus. He is also a member of the following Professional Associations: the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Disease Society of America.
